I love working with all of my clients and building relationships with them. I love that I am friends with so many of my past brides and families. Through my work with the charity Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep I have met one of the most amazing families. If you know about this charity you know that it is due to a loss of a child that an affiliated photographer gets involved. Well with this family the outcome is far different. The miracle baby Judah was born alive against what all the specialty doctors had to say. I have had the pleasure and honor to get to spend time with this family. His parents are just as special and I see why they were blessed with this perfect little boy. I look forward to seeing him at all the different stages of his life. He has grown so much alread since he was born. Here is a picture I want to share, he is six months here in his grandmothers arms. These are the moments that make my job such a joy and so special.

Very rarely does this happen but today a fourth generation got married on the 4th of June.   Thats right Suzy is the fourth in the line of her family to get married on this day.  Add to it that her new mother-in-law Marisa’s birthday is on this same day and the Father who was supposed to officiate the wedding could not be here due to family reasons so the Father from another town came in and just happened to be ordained 6 years ago today.  Hmmmm  I am thinking that God is smiling down on this couple and blessing them.  This couple is such a joy to work with, I hope you enjoy the fun and love they share.

What a beautiful wedding today.  I really enjoyed the whole wedding day at the Rend Lake Resort. What a gorgeous back drop the huge fireplace made for pictures.  It was cold and snowy but the bride and groom braved it for a few pictures.

Only two days until Ty Wallace and Laura Rheineker tie the knot.   It is a beautiful white wonderland out there and will make a great backdrop for there winter wedding portraits.

Malik is one of the happiest little guys I have met.
