I am a photographer in Pinckneyville Illinois specializing in Wedding photography, High school senior portraits, Family and children portraiture.

While I feel that my artistry tells much of who I am, it’s not the whole story. My story starts way back to when I got the love of photography from my dad who used to take photographs of old bridges and cranes when he stationed oversees in the military. I used to go through those photos and they just inspired me. The problem for me was they were missing something. They were missing the people element in them. I was never destined to be a photographer of anything other than people. I love capturing the light that comes into your eyes as you laugh at something. That special moment between father and daughter right before she goes down the isle. It is the emotions and the interaction between people that inspire me. That is why weddings with all the love and emotion and excitement is one of my favorite things to be a part of. Of course I should probably tell you a little about my experience and training.

I spent my highschool years taking pictures for the yearbook and spending hours in the school darkroom and the darkroom I had in my basement developing film and printing photos. It was no big surprise to my family when I followed my dads footsteps and joined the Army and went to the Army photography school. Good thing I did because I met the love of my life there, and we have been happily married for 14 years. There is nothing better than being able to share something I love so much with someone I love. I believe that our love and commitment give us a special insight when we work together photographing weddings.
